Unlike traditional master's degrees, these degrees combine an interdisciplinary curriculum with business training and hands-on experience, enabling graduates to acquire a new "tool-set" for success in a business environment.

Why Rice?

What's New

PSM students have arrived on campus participating in Cultural Workshops, Communication Assessments and general Orientation Week activities. A full program geared to familiarize our students with the Rice campus and with each other consisting of activities and presentations throughout the week, which will introduce new students to the ins and outs of life at Rice by providing assistance with class registration, introductions to Rice values and policies, opportunities for outreach inside and outside "the hedges". In addition, students will enjoy a GSA sponsored picnic on Wednesday at Valhalla.  PSM Orientation will take place on Thursday, August 18th in Keck Hall, the PSM/EPMP Welcome Social takes place on Friday, August 19th in Duncan Hall. Welcome to Rice!!

Program Options: 5th Year Master's

Rice undergrad students have the opportunity to line their study plans up creating a pathway into our professional master's degrees which - with good planning - they could finish in a 5th year of studies at Rice, completing their B.S. and their M.S. degrees back-to-back.

Interested in pursuing a coordinated MBA/PSM program? Interested applicants have to apply to both programs at the same time to be able to qualify for this opportunity. If you are interested, make sure to submit two separate applications: one to the Jones School of Business and one to the respective PSM track. More info in the tab to the left!

Prospects, friends and students are encouraged to become a  PSM Facebook Site Friend to see photos of all our recent activities and be kept informed about upcoming events.
